UK Business – Best Place to Work

The continued investment and dedication in the Age Partnership workforce was recognised in November when the financial retirement specialists were shortlisted in the Best Place to Work category of the 2016 UK Business Awards.

The recognition comes at a time when the Leeds based specialists see their employment figure rising to over 300 and staff turnover rates are at an all-time low of 1.4%, compared to the UK average of 15%.

In the shortlists the judges referenced the significant investment that Age Partnership have made in their workforce over the last 3 years – financing their staff through over 300 qualifications at a cost of more than £150,000. What’s more, in 2016 the company was also awarded the Investor in People (IIP) accreditation, further cementing there position as the employer of choice in the financial services sector.

Speaking of the investment in the workforce, Age Partnership Chief Executive Tim Loy said; “We are committed to developing a work force that strives for excellence. We look for enthusiasm, honesty and dedication from all our staff – in return we promise to provide you with the tools you need to achieve success. We have monthly staff incentives to promote colleague engagement in our business targets and believe that hard work and commitment should be celebrated and recognised.”

The national awards, which were organised by UK Business, saw Age Partnership up against a plethora of household names such as Aldi, Unibet and Zen Internet for the accolade of Best Place to Work 2016.
